<h2>Should I do IB Biology?</h2>
<p>IB Biology is offered at both Higher (HL) and Standard Level (SL). For students who would like to further their studies in a medical / biochemical / biomedical related discipline at university, it is highly recommended that they do Biology at HL. Students will also benefit from studying the IB Biology course alongside the IB Chemistry course, as there are a number of topics in IB Biology which are related to IB Chemistry syllabus e.g. concepts in core topic 2 Molecular biology in IB Biology overlap with option B Biochemistry in IB Chemistry.</p>

<h2>How to get a 7 in IB Biology?</h2>
<p>The IB Biology course involves understanding of living organisms in various fields (molecular, cellular, physiological, behavioral and ecological), learning of development of scientific hypothesis / theory and developing skills in analyzing data from different scientific investigations. There is a common misconception amongst IB Biology students that you can achieve a high score in this course simply by memorizing Biological concepts. In order to attain a 7 students must not only be able to interpret the results of table / graphical formats in unfamiliar scientific investigations but also plan and present their understanding of biological mechanisms.</p>
