<h2>What level of IB Maths should I take?</h2>
<p>There are four levels in IB Maths: Maths Studies SL, Maths SL, Maths HL and Further Maths HL. It is recommended that you should take Maths HL if you are aiming for disciplines like Engineering, Physics, Maths, and Economics courses at some competitive UK universities. For other disciplines, you are recommended to take Maths SL. </p>
<p>The internal assessment in IB Maths is called Exploration, which requires students to write a 8-12 page report on their topic of interest. Students need to demonstrate a clear understanding of the concepts involved in Maths Exploration, be able to discuss its application and evaluate the limitations. Usually, students choose topics such as modelling or pure maths for their Maths Exploration. </p>

<h2>How to get a 7 in IB Maths?</h2>
<p>Students usually find it difficult to apply textbook concepts in exams, as IB exams are very application based, requiring students to understand the concepts rather than simply applying the formula. The Exploration, from the planning stage to the final written piece, is found to be equally challenging. In order to get a solid 7, you need to perform well in both the Exploration and the IB Maths external exam.</p>
