•    Work with professional partners to provide holistic solutions to clients with regard to their onshore and offshore portfolio management, tax advisory, trust planning.  

Major development projects:
•    Set up offices with strategic partners in UK, US and Germany, to engage in developing intelligence resources of local market information in public and private sectors, access to C-level executives of companies and family offices in those countries; deal sourcing in private ventures, collaborative partnership with emerging fund managers. 
•    To reach out to global partners of Globex in different locations and time zones, we develop IT-enabled resources incorporating video conferencing, social media channels to connect our team with our partners working closely together.

Vision:

•    Had been Executive Officer of a Registered Institution (i.e. Bank) under the HK Monetary Authority in 2004
•    Developed RMB hedging strategies for international corporate clients when their direct investments in China were still exposed to risks of currency devaluation and repatriation. 
•    Structured for a large Taiwan corporation the first cross border project finance deal of USD 50 million in Malaysia using Labuan OBU.  Both countries had exchange controls.  
•    Assisted with a professor in Tsinghua University researching about RMB internationalization and offshore banking solutions for China.  These studies become groundwork to him as a think-tank proposal for setting up global offshore Renminbi Business Hub in Hong Kong.  
•    Represented our firms to be investment manager and strategic advisor to secure mandates in industry sectors mainly in commercial real estate, financial services, new technology, life sciences, education, entertainment and retailing industries. 

Positive Contribution in future with following plans in progress :
•    My further aspiration is to strengthen investors education and corporate governance through influences of our asset management businesses.

•    Expand constructively the two way flows of quality funds and investments between HK and other GBA cities to bring sustainable financial well-being to more people/enterprise in this region.

  string(2399) "•    I am a low profile professional and have not been interested in gaining recognition with awards during my busy career life in international banking.  I consider the award is to beat my own self as I age.  However, the growth of GBA is a very exciting moment and I have heard this from my professor in Tsinghua, Dr David Li Daokui (李稻葵) in class more than 10 years ago.  The Delta economy and sustainability has probably been mapped out by the Central Govt of China a decade ago.   I would like to be associated with such a meaningful award, hence I accepted the nomination to apply.
•    After 3 decades of involvement in Asia, mainly the Greater China region, and the established network I already built with Tsinghua Alumni, I have spent most time last 5 years in deep dive the west, about their cultural, social, political aspects in order to supplement my insights into their economics and capital markets.
•    My frequent attendance to C-level roundtables and summits in New York, London and Frankfurt expanded significantly my horizon. After attendance to Bloomberg’s inaugural investor summit in 2017 and many of their summits, I was invited to join as m ember of Bloomberg CEO breakaway network. I am one of the few Asian members in 150 members circle.  
•    I am a 5 times participant to a stock exchange forum in Frankfurt, Germany from year 2015. I  have met with over 100 listed SME firms in various industry every year, I connected with some of their CEOs/CFOs.  This has given me unmatched opportunities to find quality companies and stocks for clients’ recommendation.  I am on their guest lists as attendees and panels in small groups brainstorming to further build China-Germany business relationships.  
•    Instead of an award which I never care much for soliciting for a recognition, I just enjoy low-key pragmatic style to collaborate with partnerships to get things done.  

It is ME that I have to beat the ME yesterday, to become the BETTER ME tomorrow. 

GBA-OWEA is an award I do find I am fully qualified for, and would give me a platform for contributing the past experience in further develop the prosperity of regional financial hub of GBA.

•    Developed RMB hedging strategies for international corporate clients when their direct investments in China were still exposed to risks of currency devaluation and repatriation. 
•    Structured for a large Taiwan corporation the first cross border project finance deal of USD 50 million in Malaysia using Labuan OBU.  Both countries had exchange controls.  
•    Assisted with a professor in Tsinghua University researching about RMB internationalization and offshore banking solutions for China.  These studies become groundwork to him as a think-tank proposal for setting up global offshore Renminbi Business Hub in Hong Kong.  
•    Represented our firms to be investment manager and strategic advisor to secure mandates in industry sectors mainly in commercial real estate, financial services, new technology, life sciences, education, entertainment and retailing industries.

  string(2395) "•    I am a low profile professional and have not been interested in gaining recognition with awards during my busy career life in international banking.  I consider the award is to beat my own self as I age.  However, the growth of GBA is a very exciting moment and I have heard this from my professor in Tsinghua, Dr David Li Daokui (李稻葵) in class more than 10 years ago.  The Delta economy and sustainability has probably been mapped out by the Central Govt of China a decade ago.   I would like to be associated with such a meaningful award, hence I accepted the nomination to apply.
•    After 3 decades of involvement in Asia, mainly the Greater China region, and the established network I already built with Tsinghua Alumni, I have spent most time last 5 years in deep dive the west, about their cultural, social, political aspects in order to supplement my insights into their economics and capital markets.
•    My frequent attendance to C-level roundtables and summits in New York, London and Frankfurt expanded significantly my horizon. After attendance to Bloomberg’s inaugural investor summit in 2017 and many of their summits, I was invited to join as m ember of Bloomberg CEO breakaway network. I am one of the few Asian members in 150 members circle.  
•    I am a 5 times participant to a stock exchange forum in Frankfurt, Germany from year 2015. I  have met with over 100 listed SME firms in various industry every year, I connected with some of their CEOs/CFOs.  This has given me unmatched opportunities to find quality companies and stocks for clients’ recommendation.  I am on their guest lists as attendees and panels in small groups brainstorming to further build China-Germany business relationships.  
•    Instead of an award which I never care much for soliciting for a recognition, I just enjoy low-key pragmatic style to collaborate with partnerships to get things done.  

It is ME that I have to beat the ME yesterday, to become the BETTER ME tomorrow.

I am honored to nominate Ms. Becky Wong for the GBA Outstanding Woman Eentrepreneur Awards in Year 2020. 

Becky is my schoolmate in high school whom I have known for decades from teenage.  She is an academically strong student who has pursued Business degree in the Chinese University and started her lifespan career in financial services immediately after graduation.  She is a veteran banker and investment professional with the depth and breadth of experience for over 3 decades with top-tier banks such as BOA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, JP Morgan Chase, Standard Chartered, and HSBC.  She has also served as my private banker and gave great advisory services in helping me to manage my family wealth for years.  

She is articulate, enthusiastic and visionary.  In particular, she is very inspiring and effective in making strategic decisions in business and investments, so as to enable clients and friends making well-informed decisions.   Her wisdom of command in global affairs in economics, geo-political and financial aspects has given me good insights in investments too. 

What impressed me is that she did pursue a EMBA in Tsinghua University Beijing in very late stage during her busiest time with family and career.  She knows how to balance her life and manage time efficiently despite her being a single mother for over 20 years. 

We are also family friends with our children of similar age group that received education in the UK about the same time.  Hence, I witnessed the achievements she made from years of efforts with no complaints.  We are also Christians and at certain time, we served in the same church. 

She has also joined HK Women Professionals and Entrepreneurs Association which I am current President of the association.  Becky is an active member and participates in the Innovation and Technology committee which she offers invaluable opinions from her knowledge with start-ups and IT companies in overseas. 

Becky has a very assertive personality, a team player and a leader who is very willing to share with her peers and friends, she also likes to coach the young people.  We have shared thoughts and brainstormed on certain community and PR projects in the past.

本人於2019年撰寫《中醫寫給新手媽媽的坐月天書》，以中醫的角度，配合營養師及資深陪月員的意見，制定一張適合大多數婦女的坐月餐單，希望 幫助廣大新手媽媽的產後復原，並將中醫藥知識拓展至陪月行業裏。

此外，本人現積極開發大灣區的煎送藥服務，並把現代化的科技投入在中醫藥行業裏，將煎藥和包裝全自動化，務求為大灣區的人帶來更便利更先進的中醫藥服務。"
