Welcome to the website of Lions Clubs International District 303 – Hong Kong & Macao, China.

Lions Clubs International is entering into our 101st anniversary, marking our service for the second century. The Lions motto is “We Serve.” We hope that we can all contribute to District 303 together in one heart and one mind and achieve good results in the new century.

This year, Lions Clubs International issued guidelines for five causes to more than 46,000 Lion Clubs around the world:
1. Diabetes
2. Environment
3. Hunger
4. Childhood cancer
5. Vision

The new President Lion Gudrun Yngvadottir is the first female President of Lions Clubs International in the past hundred years. At the annual meeting of Lions Clubs International held in Las Vegas, the USA, she encouraged the 700 Governors-elect around the world that the services of Lions Clubs should be “Beyond the Horizon”. We should reach beyond our limits. When we face obstacles in our services, we should change those obstacles into opportunities.

At the same time, Lions Clubs International set up three service goals: to serve 200 million people around the world, to improve the gender ratio of male and female lions to 50% each, and the global fundraising campaign “Campaign 100”.

Being the Governor of District 303 this year, I will endeavour myself fully to the guidelines and direction of Lions Clubs International together with two vice District Governors and the team of district staff to deliver the district services well. However, most importantly, we count on the support and cooperation of our clubs and fellow lions to work smoothly and achieve success.
